Al-Kindi AGM 2010

                               ALKINDI AGM 11th April
 
Alkindi Society for Engineers held its Annual General Meeting (AGM)  
for the year 2010 at Paddington Arts Centre in London on Sunday 11th  
April. The previous executive committee presented the main activities  
and the Society’s finance report, which was approved by the members.  
The committee also proposed a number of changes and conducted a voting  
for each of the proposals by the AGM.
 
Later, the referees committee invited nominations for the chairman’s  
position and conducted a vote which resulted in the election of Dr.  
Alaa Alani as a chairman of the Society for 2010. Another vote was  
conducted to select the executive committee members, and the following  
is a list of the new EC committee:

The new committee is looking forward to serve Alkindi members and to  
provide the support through a number of seminars, workshops and other  
social events this year.
